I guess I could add Joan Fontaine in Rebecca on here, but I don't think I've seen any nominees pre-1950 apart from that. Well, I did see Wendy Hiller in Pgymalion, but I can hardly remember her performance. What did you think of the list?

I kinda suspected that, since you said on Fritz's ranking for Jessica Lane that you disagree with Ryder winning the Oscar. Why didn't you like her?

I don't think she is supposed to be natural in Little Women. As I've said before, I felt that she was terrible in The Crucible and lacking in Girl Interupted, but she delivered a compelling, outstanding performance in Little Women, in my opinion.
